A Family Christmas
Every Sunday in December, 10:30 AM
This year at Southside, we are celebrating "A Family Christmas." As part of that theme, several of our services this month will focus on various parts of our Southside Family, including some faces from the past, a special service with our kids, and more. Check out the services listed below and be sure to invite a friend!
Dec 1--Guest Speaker, Jeremiah Stingl
Pastor Jeremiah is the lead pastor at Living Water Church in Bolingbroke, IL, but long before he took that position, he was a youth at Southside. Come hear how God has worked in his life to lead him to where he is, today.
Dec 15--The Season for Worship
Join us as our praise team leads us in a service of worship, focused on Jesus and the songs of the holidays. This will be an opportunity to join in familiar songs of Christmas and to hear a few new songs that will help you connect to the hope of Christ in this season.
Dec 22--A Kids Christmas with Faithville Kids
Throughout December, our Faithville Kids will be raising funds for the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge, to support Assemblies of God missionaries around the world. The 3 students who raise the most will get to pie one of our staff members during our Sunday service on December 22! The morning will also feature baptisms and a message from our Children's Pastor, Kaci Peterson, as well as special music and skits by the kids. Because who doesn't love kids at Christmas??
Ladies' Ornament Exchange
Dec 1, 6 PM
Our Annual Ladies' Ornament Exchange is always a ton of fun for girls and women of all ages! This year's event will be Sunday, December 1 at 6 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
Invite a friend, bring a wrapped Christmas ornament and a finger food to share, and join us for a great time of connection with the ladies of Southside.
Christmas Eve Communion Service
Dec 24, 6 PM
Our Christmas Eve Communion Service is an opportunity to take a moment, in the excitement of Christmas, to remember and connect with the One we celebrate. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to join our family for a short service of carols, communion, and community.
