WHO WE ARE...

Southside Assembly of God is a family, gathered from diverse backgrounds and cultures, and united by our connection to Christ.

We exist to serve God and the community around us by providing God-honoring, Bible-based teaching, contemporary and authentic worship, and outreach and support to local neighborhoods and schools, urban ministries in the Savannah area, and missionaries around the world.

  FAQ's:

What are your Sunday services like?

Our Sunday services generally consist of a few, contemporary songs, prayer, and Bible-based teaching. We are a fairly typical church, but if you are new to church culture, you can expect to see people raising their hands during worship, praying out loud for each other, and greeting each other with handshakes and the occasional hug. Nothing too weird, we promise.

When should I get there?

Our services begin at 10:30 AM, so you will want to arrive a few minutes before that; maybe 10:15 or so, if you will need to check in your kids for Children’s Church.

What is available for my kids?

Our Faithville Kids department provides Children’s Church for kids in grades K-5, and nursery for children up to age 4. We also have DISTINGUISHED Youth on Wednesday nights for teens in grades 6-12. Click the highlighted links for more details!

What should I wear?

Please feel free to wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Our church is casual, family-friendly, and diverse. Whether you wear jeans or a suit, you won’t be out of place.

What do you believe?

At Southside Assembly of God, our faith centers around Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died, was buried and rose again to free us from our sin. We believe that the Bible is true, spoken by God himself, and the primary instruction for how we live our lives.

As for our style and doctrine, we are a Spirit-led, Spirit-filled church, associated with the Assemblies of God denomination. Feel free to follow the links and check out our About Us pages for more details.
